Dear Valued Customer,

As one of the pioneer banks that embarks on a new nationwide fund transfer service, DuitNow, we would also like you to be the first to experience once it launches. Hence, for your ease and convenience, we will be pre-registering your mobile number as DuitNow ID for your HSBC Amanah account-i.1
What is DuitNow?
DuitNow allows you to perform instant fund transfers to your recipients by entering the recipient’s Mobile Number, NRIC Number, Passport Number (for non-Malaysians only), Business Registration Number or Army/Police Number which has been registered as DuitNow ID.

Similarly, once you have registered a DuitNow ID, senders may perform instant fund transfers to your account-i by entering your DuitNow ID instead of your account-i number.

How to DuitNow?
DuitNow can be performed via HSBC Amanah Personal Internet Banking and the new HSBC Malaysia Mobile Banking App* once DuitNow is launched. We will be in touch with you on the official launch date of DuitNow.

To Receive Payments via DuitNow
You must have a registered
DuitNow ID.
1.
Login to HSBC Amanah Personal Internet Banking or the new HSBC Malaysia Mobile Banking App* and select DuitNow.
2.
Go to DuitNow Registration/ Maintenance and Select ‘Add New DuitNow ID’.
3.
Select your preferred DuitNow ID and receiving Current/ Savings account-i to complete the registration.

To Transfer via DuitNow
Your recipients have to provide you with their registered DuitNow ID.
1.
Login to HSBC Amanah Personal Internet Banking or the new HSBC Malaysia Mobile Banking App* and select DuitNow.
2.
Insert the recipient’s DuitNow ID and transfer details to complete the DuitNow transaction instantly.
*The new HSBC Malaysia Mobile Banking App is available for download once DuitNow is launched.
For your convenience, we will be pre-registering your mobile number as DuitNow ID of your account-i with us as communicated in our SMS to you so that you can start using DuitNow to transfer or receive payments when DuitNow is launched.1
Notes:
1.
Should you wish not to be pre-registered for a DuitNow ID, you may opt-out by completing this e-form and submit to us by 14 November 2018, 11.59pm (Malaysia Time).
2.
For your information, should you wish to make changes to your DuitNow ID (such as deregistering your DuitNow ID or to link a DuitNow ID to a different HSBC Amanah current/savings account-i) you may do so via the DuitNow function in HSBC Amanah Personal Internet Banking or the new HSBC Malaysia Mobile Banking App from December 2018 onwards.

HSBC Amanah Terms and Conditions for Personal Internet Banking (October 2018 Edition) apply. 1We will submit pre-registration request on your behalf to Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (“PayNet”) to register your mobile number in our records as DuitNow ID of your MYR deposit account as communicated in our SMS to you, unless you choose to opt-out from this pre-registration by completing and submitting to us the e-form as mentioned above by 14 November 2018, 11.59pm (Malaysia Time). Your account will be selected based on the highest type of active MYR deposit account-i with /HSBC Amanah, as applicable. Should you have any bank account(s) with other participant banks, please note that other participant banks may submit the same pre-registration request on DuitNow ID to PayNet, in which the success of registration by us or other participant banks shall be determined and informed by PayNet. If your mobile number has been pre-registered by other participant banks prior to our submission of registration request to PayNet, the registration of DuitNow ID for your account-i with /HSBC Amanah (as applicable) will be rejected by PayNet. We will notify you on the registration status via SMS to your mobile number by 30 November 2018 if successful.
