As part of our added security measures to combat fraud, there will be a 12-hour cooling-off period after every Mobile Secure Key set-up. This measure helps prevent any unauthorised access to your account during this time.

Complete verification within 48 hours by calling our Contact Centre.

Alternatively, book an appointment to visit your nearest branch to verify in-person. This additional security step ensures that no unauthorised individuals can gain access to your account.

Once you’ve completed the above steps and the 12-hour cooling-off
period is over, you’ll be able to access the full functionalities of
HSBC Online and Mobile Banking.
