As per the provisions of The Reserve Bank of India Master Circular (RBI/2010-11/75, DBOD. AML. BC. No. 2 /14 .01.001/2010-11) on Know Your Customer (KYC) norms dated July 1st 2010, it is mandatory for all banks in India to update the customer identification documents (including photographs) for all bank accounts held with them on a periodic basis.
To ensure compliance with this Circular, we will require you to provide updated documents (refer link below) for your Bank accounts held with HSBC India. Kindly arrange for the required documents to reach us before 15 August 2010 to ensure continuity of service.
