As our selected cardholder, you’ll receive an extra 2% RewardCash rebate for all incremental spending(2), including tax payments(3), which exceeds your individual monthly spending target (please refer to the promotional mailer) from 1 November 2016 to 28 February 2017. 

To settle your tax payment, simply follow the steps below. You can also adjust your credit limit for greater flexibility(4) by calling our hotline or logging on to HSBC Internet Banking at www.hsbc.com.hk.

Step 1 | Log on to HSBC Internet Banking and click on the “Online Tax Payment is just A CLICK away” banner. > 
Step 2 | Enter “Shroff Account Number” as displayed on your tax bill. (Note: “-” and alphabetic characters are not required) > 
Step 3 | Choose the HSBC credit card account to pay from, enter amount and select the payment date. Then follow the instructions to complete the payment.

1. According to RFi Group Hong Kong Priority & Retail Banking Council Study 2016 H2.

Local and online spending, cash advances and online tax payments conducted with an eligible credit card and exceeding the individual monthly spending target are referred to as incremental spending (“Monthly Incremental Spending”), and is calculated up to a maximum of HKD10,000/RMB10,000 (applicable to UnionPay Dual Currency Credit Cards only) per month. Local spending refers to any local Hong Kong Dollar transaction conducted with an eligible credit card at any merchant in Hong Kong. Online spending refers to any spending performed online with an eligible credit card regardless of the transaction country and currency. Each month refers to each period from 1 to 30 November 2016, 1 to 31 December 2016, 1 to 31 January 2017 and 1 to 28 February 2017. The total maximum amount of extra RewardCash each cardholder can be entitled to is $800 during the promotional period. Please refer to the terms and conditions for details. 
3. Cardholders must make a personal tax payment to the Inland Revenue Department in Hong Kong with an eligible credit card via the HSBC Internet Banking during the promotional period to enjoy the extra 2% RewardCash. Please refer to the terms and conditions for details.
