Extra HKD50 Spending Rebate for Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service set-up 

HSBC credit card, the best credit card in town(1), lets you pay for daily spending such as transportation, parking, supermarket and convenience store purchases easily via Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service (AAVS). Link Octopus AAVS to your HSBC credit card for added convenience to avoid running out of money on your Octopus and also earn RewardCash for each reload transaction. Simply follow the steps below during the promotional period to receive an extra HKD50 spending rebate(2): 

Step 1: Link your HSBC credit card to Octopus AAVS between 1 August and 31 December 2016(3) 
Step 2: Successfully complete one reload transaction on or before 31 January 2017 
Step 3: Register your HSBC credit card and Octopus number at 8228 3233 on or before 31 January 2017

For enrolments where the first AAVS transaction and hotline registration take place between 1 August and 31 October 2016, AAVS Rewards will be credited to the cardholder’s Primary Credit Card account in December 2016. For enrolments where the first AAVS transaction and hotline registration take place thereafter until 31 January 2017, AAVS Rewards will be credited to the account in March 2017. Each cardholder can enjoy a total maximum spending rebate of HKD200 during the Promotional Period. Each AAVS should be registered individually via the hotline. 
3. Cardholder must apply for the Octopus AAVS and activate the service upon application approval before 31 December 2016 in order to be regarded as completion of Step 1. The Octopus AAVS approval processing time normally takes around 2 to 3 weeks and an activation letter will be sent to the applicant upon confirmation of successful application.
