In our latest newsletter we take a closer look at the world through the eyes of an expat, focusing on the lifestyle issues that matter to you. The future of retirement - a global viewpoint

In HSBC's latest survey on global retirement trends, 15,000 people from 15 countries shared their hopes, fears and plans for the future - giving us new insights into the key issues faced by a world that’s steadily growing older.

The highs and lows of international taxes

There are big differences in how things are taxed depending on where you live. Places like Singapore and Hong Kong are renowned for their more temperate tax climate. But did you know about Malta's new rules for employment income or Ireland's tax break for writers and artists?
