This promotion is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (hereinafter referred to as “HSBC India”) incorporated in Hong Kong SAR and having its India corporate office at 52/60, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Mumbai 400 001. This promotion is open only to existing Premier Non-Resident Indian (NRI) customers of HSBC India who are residents in The United States of America (US), The United Kingdom(UK), United Arab Emirates(UAE), Hong Kong(HK) & Canada (hereinafter referred to as “Participant”). Any participation in the promotion is voluntary. |

This promotion is open to Participants resident in the following countries: US, UK, UAE, Hong Kong & Canada. (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Countries of Promotion’). |

| 3. |
Any participation from countries other than the Countries of Promotion will not be eligible for the promotion. |

| 4. |
The promotion is open from 00:00 hours, Indian Standard Time (IST) on 6th March 2010 to 23:59 hours 31st March, 2010 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Promotion Period'). To participate in this promotion: |

| a) |
The Participant is required to: make a transfer of any amount to his/her HSBC India Non-Resident account, using ‘Global Transfer’ feature on Premier Online Banking during the promotion period. |
| b) |
Register his/her transaction by calling one of the NRI Premier contact center numbers in the emailer. During the registration process it is mandatory for the Participant to give the complete name, address & contact details of recipient, he/she wants to register (hereinafter referred to as the 'Registered Recipient’) for delivering the Westside gift voucher (hereinafter referred to as the 'Gift Voucher’). |

| 5. |
For sake of clarity, it is hereby confirmed that only on meeting both the above mentioned conditions, will the Participant be considered to be eligible for this promotion. Remittance credits reflecting in the Account till 5th April 2010 will be considered for this promotion. If a transaction is conducted within the Promotion Period, but the credit to the Account reflects after 5th April 2010 the Participant will not be eligible for this promotion. |

| 6. |
The Registered Recipient will be sent Westside gift vouchers worth INR. 250. |

The dispatch of all 'Gift Vouchers will be initiated after 16th April 2010. The same will reach the Registered Recipient in 7-8 working days from the day of dispatch |

| 7. |
Delivery of the Gift Voucher to the Registered Recipient will be subject to a correct/valid address being given at the time of registration. The Gift Voucher will be delivered only in the cities where HSBC India has a branch. Please visit www.hsbc.co.in to know the current list of cities where HSBC India has branches. Incase the Registered Recipient is located outside the said cities, the Gift Voucher cannot be couriered to the Registered Recipient and therefore the Participant will not be eligible for the promotion. |

| 8. |
Each Participant may register only one transaction during the Promotion Period irrespective of the number of remittance transactions done by the participant during the Promotion Period. |

| 9. |
HSBC India will not be responsible for any delay or non delivery of the Gift Voucher. |
| |
|
| 10. |
HSBC India will not be liable if the recipient does not accept the Gift Voucher. |
| |
|
| 11. |
The promotion is subject to force majeure events. |
| |
|
| 12. |
HSBC India will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered, to the Participant or the Registered Recipient, as a result of participating in the Promotion. |

| 13. |
All decisions in respect of the Promotion shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC India and shall be final and binding and will be non-contestable. All Participants and Recipients waive any and all rights of claim with regard to the Promotion against HSBC India. |

| 14. |
HSBC India reserves the right to withdraw and/or alter any of the terms and conditions of this Promotion at any time, without any prior notice. |

| 15. |
The promotion is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. |

| 16. |
The Participation is voluntary. |
| |

| 17. |
Employees of the HSBC group, their relatives and family members, will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion. |

| 18. |
Tax liability, if any will be borne by the Participant. |
| |
|
| 19. |
This Promotion will be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai only. The existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute a claim against HSBC India. |

| 20. |
By participating in the promotion, the participants shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions in totality. |
