If you have an account with HSBC Singapore and an NR account with HSBC India you can remit money to India at no remittance fee.
A flat conversion fee^^ of Rs. 50/- plus currently applicable service tax will be charged to you for each remittance transaction involving foreign currency conversion.
Remittances from Singapore are free only if the funds are transferred in Singapore Dollars from your account with HSBC Bank Singapore to your own NRE account with HSBC India. Simply submit a wire transfer request at the local HSBC Singapore Branch, or HSBC Singapore IBC Department. |
