Transfers by Cheque

	You can even transfer money offline, without compromising on the speed of transfer or the convenience. Write a cheque drawn on your GBP account with HSBC Bank plc/first direct and mail it to/submit it to the HSBC Bank plc’s NRI Centre address given below and your NR account with HSBC India will be credited, for FREE⁴, in just 3-5 working days⁵! Alternatively, instead of writing a cheque, you can also mail a Direct Debit instruction to the HSBC Bank plc’s NRI Centre address given below by providing relevant details in the Instruction Form. The form is available for download in the NRI Services-UK-Money Transfers section on hsbc.co.in.

⁵The term 'working days' refers to days that are bank working days in both the UK and India. The NR account will be credited in 3-5 working days post receipt of the cheque at the specified address.
