| HSBC Terms and Conditions |

This promotion is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (hereinafter referred to as “HSBC India”) incorporated in Hong Kong SAR and having its India corporate office at 52/60, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Mumbai 400 001. This promotion is open only to existing Non-Resident Indian (NRI) customers of HSBC India, who are residents in The United Kingdom(UK), United Arab Emirates(UAE), Oman, Qatar, Hong Kong(HK) & Canada. (hereinafter referred to as “Participant”). Any participation in the promotion is voluntary, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. |

The promotion is open from 00:00 hours, Indian Standard Time (IST) on 6 th May, 2010 to 23:59 hours 31st May, 2010 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Promotion Period'). To participate in this promotion, the Participant is required to: |

Make a transfer to his/her NR account held with HSBC India as mandated in the emailer sent by HSBC India. In case the participant has not received the emailer, he/she may call the NRI Contact Center to get further details on the promotion . |

Register the transaction by visiting www.hsbc.co.in/nri or calling the NRI Contact Center at the numbers given in the emailer. Post a successful registration of the remittance transaction, the Registered Recipient will be sent Westside gift vouchers worth INR. 250/- .( hereinafter referred to as “Gift”) |

| 3. |
Delivery of the ‘Gift‘ to the Registered Recipient will be subject to a correct/valid address being given at the time of registration. If there is no address registered, then the Recipient will not be eligible for the Gift. The ‘Gift‘ will be sent to the address of the recipient registered for the promotion The ‘Gift’ will be delivered only in the cities where HSBC India has a branch. Please visit www.hsbc.co.in to know the current list of cities where HSBC India has branches. Incase the Registered Recipient is located outside the said cities, the ‘Gift’ cannot be couriered to the Registered Recipient and therefore the Recipient will not be eligible to receive the ‘Gift’ and the ‘Participant’ will not be eligible for the promotion. |

Each Participant may register only one transaction during the Promotion Period irrespective of the number of remittance transactions done by the participant during the Promotion Period. |

| 5. |
Remittance credits reflecting in the Account till 3rd June, 2010 will be considered for the promotion. If a transaction is conducted within the promotion period, but the credit to the Account reflects after 3rd June, 2010 then the Participant will not be eligible for the Offer. |

| 6. |
For the sake of clarity, it is hereby confirmed that only on meeting the above mentioned conditions, will the Participant be considered to be eligible for this promotion. Note that HSBC India will not be responsible in any manner whatsoever for the Participants’ inability to register the Transaction. |

| 7. |
The dispatch of ‘Gift’ will be initiated after the 13th of June, 2010. The same will reach the Registered Recipient in 7-8 working days from the day of dispatch |

| 8. |
HSBC India will not be responsible for any delay or non delivery of the gifts.In case of any query relating to the non-receipt of gifts by the Recipient, please contact the NR Contact center at the numbers given in the emailer. |

| 9. |
HSBC India will not be liable if the Recipient does not accept the gifts. |
|
|
| 10. |
The Offer is subject to force majeure events. |
|
|
| 11. |
HSBC India will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered, as a result of participating in the Offer. |

| 12. |
All decisions in respect of the Offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC India and shall be final and binding and will be non-contestable. All Participants and recipients waive any and all rights of claim with regard to the Offer against HSBC India. |

| 13. |
HSBC India reserves the right to withdraw and/or alter any of the terms and conditions of this Offer at any time, without any prior notice. |

| 14. |
Employees of the HSBC group, their relatives and family members, will not be eligible to participate in this Offer. |
|

| 15. |
Tax liability, if any will be borne by the Participant. |
|
|
| 16. |
This Offer will be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai only. The existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute a claim against HSBC India. |

| 17. |
By participating in the Offer, the Participants shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions in totality. |
