Rewards promotion – Terms and Conditions

1. The Participant needs to login on HSBC India Internet Banking and perform any one of the select transactions online (herein referred to as ‘eligible transactions’) as stated in the emailer during the ‘promotion period’. Post performing any one of the eligible online transactions successfully the Participant will be awarded 3 online Hindi movie download vouchers, (herein referred to as ‘gift’) which can be redeemed for movie download (without any cost) by logging into cinemashow.bigflix.com. Each Participant will be entitled to only one ‘gift’, irrespective of the actual number of transactions done through HSBC India Internet Banking.
2. The promotion is open from 04 March, 2011 to 03 May, 2011 both days inclusive (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Promotion Period’).
3. To participate in the promotion, Participants are required fulfill the following ‘eligibility criteria’-

5. The ‘eligible transactions ‘are –
   • Register for a bill payment and/or make a Utility/Credit Card bill payment
   • Book a Fixed Deposit Online
   • Request for Cashiers Order or Demand Draft
   • Transfer funds within HSBC Account(s)
   • Transfer funds to a non HSBC Account(s) using RTGS/NEFT
     Please note that certain transactions stated above may require separate registration.
6. If the HSBC India bank accounts of a Participant which are linked on HSBC India Internet Banking are closed at any time during the promotion period or until such time as the ‘gift’ are announced, those Participants will be deemed ineligible to earn any further assured gifts or the grand prizes.
7. All eligible Participants will be sent an email with the online movie download voucher codes for free movie downloads. Customers can redeem the same by logging on to cinemashow.bigflix.com. He/she can select and download any THREE of the preselected movies on the above webpage once and view as many times as desired after submitting the online movie download voucher codes. The online movie download voucher will be sent latest by 06 June, 2011, to the email id of the Participant registered with HSBC India as on the date of commencement of this Promotion.
8. HSBC India will not be liable incase the email with the online movie download voucher sent by HSBC India is not received by the Participants email id, as registered with HSBC India, on account of technical reasons including but not limited to Spam, invalid email id, limited capacity of the email inbox etc.
9. The Participant can create an account by registering himself/herself on cinemashow.bigflix.com in case he/she is not registered with Bigflix.com.
10. The Participant can then proceed to select and download the movies of his/her choice from cinemashow.bigflix.com.
11. The validity of these codes is 05 June, 2012 The Participant will need to download the movie before this date.
12. The Participant should ensure that he/she uses the same laptop / computer to download and to watch these movies.
13. The Participant can download the movies (from the preselected list) by logging on to http://cinemashow.bigflix.com (Website) and redeeming the online movie download voucher codes enclosed, before the expiry of validity date of the said voucher.
14. Prior to using the Website, the Participant should read and understand the User Agreement of the said Website and the Terms and conditions towards the redemption of the online movie download vouchers. The Participant should read and understand the Privacy policy for the Website, prior to providing any information.

16. HSBC India is not to be held responsible for the content/objective of any of the movies that may be considered offending. HSBC is not endorsing the said movies. All movies provided are certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification, India, and Customer is advised to use discretion for viewing these movies.
17. HSBC India does not make any warranties or representation about the quality, merchantability, and/or suitability of the Gift and HSBC India shall not be liable for any defect or deficiency in the said Gift.
18. Employees of the HSBC group, their relatives and family members, will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion.
19. All decisions in respect of the offer, including number of gifts, will be at the sole discretion of HSBC India and the same will be final and binding on a non-contestable basis. All participants waive any and all rights of claim with regard to the offer against HSBC India.
20. No purchase is necessary to participate in this promotion.
21. HSBC India shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered, as a result of participating in the promotion or by using any of the gifts.
22. HSBC India reserves the right to withdraw and/or alter any/all of the terms and conditions of this promotion at any time without prior notice.
23. All gifts are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged / redeemed for cash. No cash claim can be made in lieu of gifts.
24. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai only. The existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute a claim against HSBC India.
25. Tax liability, including Octroi, if any, will be borne by the participants themselves.
26. By participating in this promotion, the participants accept the Terms and Conditions of entry as specified above in total.
