Home Loan Terms and Conditions
   
1. The above mentioned special floating rate of interest is being offered for Home Loans and Smart Home to all Resident Indians and Non-Resident individuals (Customers). This special rate is for Fresh loan, Balance Transfer/Takeover, Balance Transfer + Top-up (hereinafter referred to as 'the Offer').
2. The Offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (HSBC). Any participation in the Offer is voluntary.
3. All loans are subject to terms and conditions and are at the sole discretion of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (HSBC). Currently Home Loan is available to applicants and for properties in and around the city limits of (sourcing cities) Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi (NCR) and Pune; and is subject to change from time to time.
4. Under this Offer, top-up facility is also allowed to the extent of 150% of the takeover amount/base loan at the same rate (for same type of product). If the top-up amount is higher than 150% of the takeover amount, the applicable interest rate would be 0.50% higher than the applicable rate for the takeover loan (for same type of product) on the complete top-up amount.
5. All loans are subject to the documentation, applicable credit policies and compliance of legal requirement of HSBC.
6. HSBC shall conduct required verification, valuation and legal checks as per its extant policies.
7. HSBC reserves the right to ask for documents as required for the loan processing.
8. Under the Offer, interest only at floating rate is offered. All floating rate loans are linked to HSBC’s Marginal Cost of Fund based Lending Rate ( MCLR). The MCLR applicable to your loan will be the 3 month MCLR published by the Bank at the beginning of the calendar quarters in January, April, July, October. This will be the benchmark rate for all the new loan disbursals during the calendar quarter. The interest rate on the loan will be reset at the beginning of these calendar quarters as per the revision in the 3 month MCLR. This will lead to a revision in Equated Monthly Instalment (EMI) or the loan tenure at Bank’s discretion.
9. HSBC reserves its absolute right to withdraw or alter any of the terms and conditions of the Offer, at any time without prior intimation.
10. HSBC will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, as a result of availing the Offer.
11. The Offer is subject to force majeure events.
12. All decisions with respect to the Offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. Other than the specific entitlements available to the customers under this Offer, any other claims with regard to this Offer against HSBC are waived.
13. Any disputes arising out of the Offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only. The existence of any dispute shall not, by itself, constitute any claim against HSBC
14. By availing the Offer, you shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions herein in totality.
Additional terms and conditions applicable for Home Loan transfers and Home Loan transfers plus top-ups.
 
1. HSBC will take over the existing Home Loan liability/loan of the Customer(s) from their existing financier based on the Offer.
2. The existing Home Loan being taken over should have a clear track record with respect to the Home Loan account held with current financier.
3. Takeover is permitted only from list of financiers approved by HSBC. For details, speak to your Relationship Manager or visit our nearest branch.

Urban Ladder Offer – Terms and Conditions:
1. This offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (‘HSBC’) and any participation is voluntary.
2.. This offer is with regard to all Mortgage products (‘Mortgage/Loan’) offered by HSBC and is applicable to all individuals who have availed a Mortgage product from HSBC (‘Customer’).
3. For Mortgage applications received from a Customer during the period from 1 October 2016 to 31 March 2017 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Offer Period’), the Customer will be entitled to an Urban Ladder e-voucher on successful disbursal of the loan. This e-voucher will give the Customer 10% discount on the final cart value while making purchases on the Urban Ladder website/mobile app (‘Urban Ladder’). (‘Offer’)
4. The e-Voucher will be sent to Customers within 30 days of disbursal of the loan by SMS to the registered mobile number. In absence of mobile number, the e-voucher will be sent to the registered email ID. Only in the absence of both mobile number and email ID, the e-voucher will be sent via physical letters to the registered communication address.
5. Each unique Urban Ladder e-voucher (‘e-Voucher’) is valid for 6 months (‘Validity Period’) from the date of the communication (date of dispatch in case of SMS/Email), and will become void if not used within the said Validity Period.
6. In order to avail of this Offer, customers must submit their complete Mortgage application to HSBC during the Offer Period. However, the disbursal need not happen during the Offer Period.
7. The successful processing and disbursal of a Mortgage application is subject to satisfactory credit checks as per the credit policy of HSBC and will be at the sole discretion of HSBC. Such checks will be undertaken when a customer expresses his desire to avail a Mortgage product.

9. The e-Voucher can be redeemed only on Urban Ladder website/mobile app (‘Urban Ladder’) and cannot be redeemed offline or over the phone.
10. The e-Voucher is applicable for purchase and deliveries only in the following cities:- Bangalore, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Pune, Goa, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Secunderabad, Udupi, Mohali and Mangalore
11. The e-Voucher can be used for the purchase of any of the products available on the Urban Ladder website/mobile app (subject to availability) during the above mentioned Validity Period.
12. Customers assume ownership of the e-Vouchers once the same is communicated to him/her.
13. Each e-Voucher can be used only once within the validity period of 6 months.
14. Multiple e-Vouchers cannot be combined in a single transaction and a single e-Voucher cannot be split across multiple transactions.
15. The e-Voucher is over and above any other discount that may be offered on the Urban Ladder website/mobile app during the Offer Period. However, the e-Voucher cannot be clubbed with any other Card offer or Promotional Code based offer.
16. Prior to using the Urban Ladder website and mobile application, the Customer should refer, read, understand, accept and agree to the user agreement and terms and conditions of the said website and mobile application, and proceed only if the Customer agrees to abide by the same. The Customer will be required to give personal information and other details online. The Customer should read and understand the privacy policy of the website and the mobile application prior to providing any such information. Any disclosure of information made by the Customer towards availing or fulfilment of the offer is at the sole discretion of the Customer and HSBC will not be responsible for the same. Urban Ladder may use the personal information shared by the Customer for any other purpose (like marketing, etc.) and HSBC shall not be held liable for such usage of personal information by Urban Ladder.
17. If lost/misused, e-Vouchers cannot be replaced/refunded and cannot be revalued. E-vouchers shall be void if resold and cannot be exchanged for point(s) or cash and cannot be re-validated.
18. The offer is subject to the terms and conditions of Urban Ladder and the Customers are required to refer, read, understand, accept and agree to be bound by them prior to availing the Offer.
19. HSBC does not make any warranties or representation about the quality, merchantability or suitability of the services provided under this offer. Any dispute regarding these must be addressed by the Customer directly to Urban Ladder.
20. HSBC will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered, as a result of participating in the offer.
21. HSBC reserves the absolute right to withdraw or alter any of the terms and conditions of the offer at any point in time without prior notice to the Customers . All decisions in respect of the offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC, and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. All Customers waive any and all rights of claim with regard to the offer against HSBC.
22. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai only. The existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute any claim against HSBC
23. The offer is subject to force majeure event.
24. Tax liability, if any, will be borne by the Customer.
25. By participating in this offer, the Customers accept all the above mentioned terms and conditions in totality
