Terms and conditions
1. This offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (HSBC). This offer is available to all resident Indian individuals (Customers). Any participation in the offer is voluntary.
2. As per this offer, HSBC will take over the existing home loan liability of the customers from their existing bankers (hereinafter referred to as 'the Offer').
3. HSBC will sanction the Offer within 2 working days ( the working days will exclude Saturday, Sunday and relevant public holidays in the region where the Customer resides) from the date of submission of all the required documents along with the application form by the Customer. In the event, HSBC is unable to sanction the Offer within 2 working days of the Customer submitting all the relevant documents, HSBC will refund the processing fee collected from the Customer within 10 working days therefrom.
4. Only non-delinquent customers will be eligible for the offer.
5. This offer is valid for the takeover loan only. The customers will not be granted any additional top-up loan to the existing loan which is being taken over through this campaign.
6. Salaried customers should have repaid at least 12 Equated Monthly Instalments (EMI) and the self-employed customers should have repaid at least 18 EMIs of their existing home loans without any delay or default, to avail this offer.
7. The customer should not have availed any fresh loans after availing the home loan that is being taken over by HSBC.
8. The tenor of the takeover loan will not exceed the residual tenor of the existing loan.
9. The new EMI granted by HSBC will not exceed the existing EMI.
10. HSBC shall conduct the required verification, valuation and legal checks as per its extant policies.
11. HSBC reserves the right to ask for fresh documents if required.
12. All loans are at the sole discretion of and subject to the terms and conditions laid down by HSBC. Loans are available for customers residing in properties located in and around the city limits of Mumbai, Pune, New Delhi (NCR), Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Hyderabad and are subject to change from time to time.
13. This offer is only valid on floating rate home loans.
14. This offer is valid for all loans approved till 31 August 2012.
15. HSBC reserves its absolute right to withdraw or alter any of the terms and conditions of the offer at any time without prior intimation.
16. HSBC will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered, as a result of availing this offer.
17. The offer is subject to force majeure events.
18. All decisions in respect of the offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. The customer waives any and all rights of claim with regard to the offer against HSBC.
19. Any disputes arising out of this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only. The existence of any dispute shall not, by itself, constitute any claim against HSBC.
20. By availing the offer, you shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions herein in totality.
