- This offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India ("HSBC") and any participation is voluntary. This offer is applicable only to the HSBC Premier MasterCard credit cardholders, Platinum, Gold and Classic credit cardholders (hereinafter referred to as the "Cardholder"),for purchases made on the travel services portal or at the given customer services phone numbers of MakeMyTrip (India) Pvt. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "MMT").
- This offer is not valid on HSBC Corporate credit cards. The offer is valid from 01 April 2012 to 30 April 2014 (hereinafter referred to as "Offer Period")
- The Cardholder will be required to make payment using their HSBC credit cards as per the price quoted by MMT on makemytrip.com (MMT website) or at telebooking centre, without considering the cash back benefit, for any travel service purchase. The offer shall be made available only if being specifically asked by the Cardholder and on providing the deal code.
- Cash back amount will beprocessed and credited by MMT within 7-14 working days, following the date the purchase/booking on to the Cardholder’s HSBC card account.
- The cash back shall be credited to the same credit card as used for the purpose of making the purchase and will reflectin the subsequent monthly credit card statement.
- If the Cardholder cancels the booking after the cash back amount is credited, MMT will refund the purchase price after deducting the cash back amount and any other applicable cancellation charges/penalty. E.g. If a Cardholder has paid
 10,000 (price quoted) for a travel service on the MMT website and a cash back of 1,000 has been credited to the Cardholders account, the net amount paid by the Cardholder is 9,000. Thus, if the Cardholder cancels the booking, MMT will deduct the cancellation charge/penalty from
9,000 and the balance amount will be credited to the Cardholder's account.
- The cash back will be applicable on the base fare (excluding taxes) or amount charged on the HSBC card, whichever is lower. All taxes including Airport taxes, Visa charges (if any), high season surcharge (if any) are payable by the Cardholder and are not part of the cash back offer.
- This offer is valid on bookings made till 30 April 2014.The cashback will be calculated on each booking ID and not on number of transactions. So if a Cardholder pays in 2 installments/transactions for 1 booking ID, the cashback will be calculated basis the base amount or card charged amount (whichever is lower) of the booking ID.
- The cash back benefit cannot be combined with any other promotional benefit offered for bookings on MMT.
- There is no cashback benefit on Flight+Hotel Deals / bookings.
- To avail the cashback on International airfares, Cardholdershall enter deal code "HSBCFLY" while booking on makemytrip.com
- To avail cashback on holiday bookings, Cardholder shall call 1860-500-5000 or 1800-11-8747 (Toll-free for MTNL & BSNL) or 1800-102-8747 (Toll-free for Airtel subscribers) and mention the deal code "HSBCFLY".
- If the Cardholder doesn’t receive cashback amount, he/she can claim for the same within 3 months from the transaction date. In the event the Cardholderfails to do so, he/she will not be eligible for the cashback amount.
- Prior to using the MMT website, the Cardholder should read and understand the User Agreement of the said website and proceed to make purchases only if the Cardholder agrees to abide by the same. The Cardholder shall be required to give personal information and card details online or via IVR, for thetickets purchased on makemytrip.com. The Cardholder should read and understand the Privacy policy for the MMT website, prior to providing such information.
- Cardholders who are Travel Agents by occupation, are barred from buying tickets for their customersusing their own HSBC credit cards. MMT reserves the right to cancel such tickets if such a case comes to the notice of MMT.
- HSBC is not liable for any defect or deficiency in the service availed under this offer and all disputes in this regard is the sole responsibility of MMT and should be taken up with MMT.
- The offer is subject to force majeure events.
- Tax liability, if any will be borne by the Cardholder.
- HSBC Bank and MMT reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this offer or as a result of this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts in Mumbai only. The existence of any dispute shall not by itself constitute a claim against HSBC.

- By participating in the offer, the Cardholders shall be deemed to have accepted all the aforementioned Terms and Conditions of HSBC and MMT in totality.
