Terms and Conditions:
1. This Offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (HSBC) and any participation in the Offer is voluntary.
2. This Offer is available on valid HSBC Non Premier Credit Card ('Card') held by existing and new Indian resident HSBC Credit Cardholders, excluding Corporate Cardholders and Cashback Credit Cardholders ('Cardholders'). Cardholders who have not repaid their minimum payment due will not be eligible for the Offer.
3. The Offer is valid from 15 February 2022 to 31 March 2022 (both dates inclusive) ('Offer Period').
4. Cardholders will earn 5 times the reward points for their insurance transactions of INR10,000 or more, subject to a maximum of 2,000 reward points, by using their HSBC Credit Card ('Offer'). (For example: Platinum Cardholder earns 2 reward points for every INR150 spent. Under this Offer, the Cardholder will earn 10 reward points for every INR150 spent during the Offer Period). 5. The regular reward points for eligible transactions will be credited to the credit card account after the transaction is posted on HSBC systems. The additional reward points will be credited by 31 May 2022.
6. The regular feature of reward points will remain unchanged. For instance, if the Cardholder is eligible for 3X reward points on Smart Value Credit Card, Cardholder will get regular reward points under the feature in addition to the extra reward points under this Offer.
7. Cancelled or refunded transactions shall not be included in the calculation of the spent amount and will thus not accrue regular or additional reward points under this Offer.
8. Add-on Cardholders will not have separate eligibility for the Offer. However, insurance spends by add-on Cardholders (if any) will be added to insurance spends of primary Cardholder. The reward points however will be credited to the primary Cardholder’s card account and only the primary Cardholder can redeem the reward points.
9. The Offer is also not valid on transactions made through Personal Internet Banking, Debit Cards, Corporate Cards, and Cashback Credit Card facilities offered by HSBC.
Registration-related Terms and Conditions:
1. Cardholders will not be eligible for this Offer without registration.
2. To register for the Offer, Cardholders will be required to text HINS to 5575750 using their registered mobile number.
3. Cardholders can register anytime during the Offer Period. Once registered, Cardholder’s insurance transactions for the entire Offer Period will be considered for the Offer, irrespective of the date when Cardholder registered for the Offer. For example, if the Cardholder registers for the Offer on 10 March 2022, all the insurance transactions from 15 February 2022 to 31 March 2022, would be considered for the Offer.
4. Cardholders who register after the completion of the Offer Period won’t be eligible for the Offer.
General Terms and Conditions:
1. Cardholders can use their primary Cards to make multiple insurance payment transactions during the Offer Period.
2. The reward points under the Offer shall not be settled or paid in cash under any circumstances whatsoever.
3. The Offer will only be applicable on insurance payment transactions as deemed appropriate by HSBC, which will identify these transactions through the MCC applicable to the same.
4. Prior to making any purchases on the website and/or mobile application, the Cardholder should refer, read, understand, accept and agree to the user agreement and Terms and Conditions of the said website and mobile application, and proceed only if the Cardholder agrees to abide by the same. The Cardholder might be required to give personal information and other details online. The Cardholder should read and understand the privacy policy of the website and mobile application, prior to providing any such information. Any disclosure of information made by the Cardholder towards availing or fulfilment of the Offer is at the sole discretion of the Cardholder and HSBC will not be responsible for the same. Merchants may use the personal information shared by the Cardholder for any other purpose (like marketing etc.) and HSBC shall not be held liable for such usage of personal information.
5. The Cardholders are deemed to have understood and accepted that insurance product/service warranty and features thereof shall be regulated by the Terms and Conditions of the relevant insurance seller/company. Any defects, deficiency, claims, issues, damages or losses arising out of or with regard to the product/services purchased by the Cardholder shall be the sole responsibility and liability of the insurance seller/company or the service provider and HSBC shall not be responsible/liable for the same in any manner whatsoever.
6. HSBC does not endorse, or make any warranties or representations as to the quality, merchantability, suitability or availability of products purchased by the Cardholders. Any dispute regarding these must be addressed in writing, by the Cardholder directly to the respective merchants.
7. HSBC reserves the sole right to decide on whether a purchase transaction meets the eligibility criteria as listed above. All decisions in respect to the Offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. Other than the specific entitlements available to the Cardholders under this Offer, any other claims with regard to this Offer against HSBC are waived.
8. HSBC reserves the right to add, alter, modify, change or vary all or any of these Terms and Conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this Offer by another Offer, whether similar to this Offer or not, or to withdraw it altogether at any point in time by providing appropriate notice to the Cardholders.
9. HSBC will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, as a result of participating in the Offer.

11. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only. The existence of any dispute shall not, by itself, constitute any claim against HSBC.
12. The Offer is subject to force majeure events.
13. Tax liability, if any, will be borne by the Cardholder.
14. The Offer is valid in India for adults of sound mind only.
15. The Offer shall be subject to all applicable central and/or state laws, rules and regulations.
16. This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Rules framed thereunder, as amended till date, as well as other provisions and statutes pertaining to electronic records. This electronic record is generated by a secure computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
17. By availing of the Offer, the Cardholders shall be deemed to have accepted all the aforementioned Terms and Conditions in totality.
