Terms and Conditions

• This offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (hereinafter referred to as ‘HSBC’). This offer is applicable only to the HSBC Gold Credit Cardholder (hereinafter referred to as ‘Cardholder’) to whom the communication is sent. Any participation in the offer is voluntary
• This offer is valid only on the credit card whose last 4 digits are mentioned in the offer communication
• The offer is applicable only on spends made in the following categories - (1)Hotels (2)Restaurants &(3) Travel. The eligibility of a particular transaction for the offer will be decided basis the Merchant Category Code (MCC) for the transaction and HSBC’s decision in this regard shall be final
• Purchases made by Add-on credit cardholders will not be eligible for the offer
• The offer is open from 20 December 2009 to 15 February 2010, both dates inclusive (hereinafter referred to as the (‘Offer Period’)
• ‘Spends’ is defined as Purchases made on the Credit Cards and does not include cash advances made by the Cardholder. Only purchase transactions under these three categories – (1)Hotel (2)Restaurants (3)Travel carried out during the Offer Period will be eligible for the offer
• 100 Highest spenders determined by the aggregated spend in these three categories – (1)Hotel (2) Restaurants (3)Travel during the Offer Period will be eligible for a 1 gram Tanishq gold coin. And the same shall be communicated to the Cardholder through a letter, only after the Offer period is over
• The reward for achieving the specified spend target will be sent to the Cardholder’s last updated mailing address as per the records available with HSBC and will be delivered within 6 – 8 weeks from the date of closure of the Offer
• Additional Offer: The additional offer is offered to select HSBC Gold Credit Cardholders under which they can get 100 Reward points for each purchase in the following categories – Hotels Restaurants & Travel from the date of communication of the Additional Offer until 15 Feb 2010 (included). A maximum of 300 Reward points may be earned under this Additional Offer.
• Incase of a reversal of a particular transaction, that transaction will NOT be counted or such purchase will NOT be considered eligible for this Offer
• All visuals in the communication sent to the Cardholder are for representational purposes only.
• The reward(s) for this offer cannot be exchanged for cash
• HSBC does not make any warranties or representation about the quality, merchantability or suitability of the merchandise offered as reward under this offer
• HSBC India will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered, as a result of participating in the offer
• HSBC reserves its absolute right to withdraw or alter any of the terms and conditions of the offer at any point in time without prior notice to the Cardholders. All decisions in respect of the offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. All Cardholders waive any and all rights of claim with regard to the Offer against HSBC
• Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this offer shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai only. The existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute a claim against HSBC
• All decisions in respect of the offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. All Cardholders waive any and all rights of claim with regard to the Offer against HSBC
• Tax liability, if any will be borne by the Cardholder
• The Offer is subject to force majeure events
