HSBC Terms and Conditions:
- This offer is brought to you by The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India (HSBC) and any participation is voluntary.
- This offer is applicable to select HSBC Spencer’s Happy Ties Cardholders and HSBC Westside Credit Cardholders, (hereinafter referred to as “Cardholders”) to whom the E-Mailers have been sent.
- The offer is valid from 00:00 hours, Indian Standard Time (IST) on 15 October 2009 to 23:59 hours IST on10 December, 2009, hereinafter referred to as the “Offer Period”.
- Under this offer,
- In case a Cardholder spends Rs. 20,000 or more during the Offer Period, the Cardholder will be eligible for a Polo wrist watch worth Rs. 5,325/-.
- Cardholders who spend Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 during the Offer Period will be given a 5gm silver coin.
- The top spender during the Offer Period among all eligible Cardholders will be rewarded a 5gm gold coin.
(the Polo wrist watch, 5gm Silver Coin and 5gm Gold Coin are collectively referred to as “Gifts”).
- All offers are mutually exclusive, i.e. every Cardholder, eligible for a reward will be sent the reward of the highest value which means that a Cardholder spending INR 25,000 will be eligible for a Polo wrist watch but not a silver coin.
- The Gifts will be dispatched to the primary address of the Cardholders within 30 days from the end of the Offer Period. In case the Cardholder does not receive the gift by the 15th of January 2010, they are requested to contact the Bank.
- HSBC is not making any Offer and does not make any warranties or representation about the quality, merchantability or suitability of the Gifts included in this offer. All disputes in this regard should be taken up directly by the Cardholder with the manufacturer of the Gifts.
- HSBC shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that may be suffered, or for any personal injury that may be suffered as a result of Cardholders availing themselves of the offer.
- The offer is subject to force majeure events.
- Only non-delinquent Cardholders will be eligible for the offer.
- Tax liability, if any, will be borne by the Cardholder.
- All decisions in respect of the offer shall be at the sole discretion of HSBC and the same shall be final, binding and non-contestable. All Cardholders waive any and all rights of claim with regard to the offer against HSBC.
- Card fees, cash advances, outstandings carried forward, debit balances prior to the Offer Period, or during the offer, but pertaining to a previous month, will not be considered for a Gift under this offer.

- HSBC reserves its absolute right to withdraw or alter any of the terms and conditions of this offer at any time without prior intimation to the Cardholders.
- Any dispute, arising out of or in connection with this programme shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai only. The existence of a dispute, if any, shall not constitute a claim against HSBC.
- By availing the offers the Cardholder accepts all the above mentioned Terms and Conditions as specified in totality.
Polo Wrist Watch Offer Terms and Conditions
- Cardholders will be given a Polo wrist watch with an MRP of INR 5,325/- on spends of Rs. 20,000 or more during the Offer Period.
- The watch will be dispatched to the Cardholder’s primary address within 30 days from the end of the Offer Period.
- For resolution of disputes with regards to the quality of the Polo Wrist Watch under this offer the Cardholder shall approach the merchant whose contact details will be mentioned on the cover letter of the gift. The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, India shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever for the same.
Silver Coin Offer Terms and Conditions
- Cardholders will be given a 0.999 silver 5gm coin on spends of Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 19,999 during the Offer Period.
- The coin will be dispatched to the Cardholder’s primary address within 30 days from the end of the Offer Period.
- For resolution of disputes with regards to the quality of the Silver Coin_under this offer the Cardholder shall approach the merchant whose contact details will be mentioned on the cover letter of the gift. Gold Coin Offer Terms and Conditions
- The top spender during the Offer Period will be eligible for a 24 Karat 5gm Gold coin
- The coin will be dispatched to the Cardholder’s primary address within 30 days from the end of the Offer Period.
