Next time you log on to Online Banking, you’ll notice that we’ve simplified the steps you take to enter your security details and have an Online Banking service with a new look and feel, designed around you and your banking needs.
Features and Functions
Easier Online Banking Log on
We’re simplifying how you log on to online and mobile banking – making logging on quicker and easier every time.

Your log on process has now been streamlined. Upon your successful log on, you will be prompted to setup a new password, as well as two security questions if you had not set them up before.

So from the next log on, you’ll just need to enter your new password in full. As always, you can also use your Security Device to log on, making it even quicker and easier to log on and manage your money.

We’ve made it easier for you to get back on track. If you’ve forgotten and locked your password, you can still log on using a security code – and vice versa.

Protecting your financial security online is our top priority. Logging on now may be easier, but your banking is still reassuringly secure.

All your accounts in one view
Enjoy quick, simple access to your Global and local accounts - helping you manage your money more easily.

Move Money
Our new move money feature will replace the transfers/FX and FCY/CNY conversion, making it simpler for you to move money between all your accounts - local and international.

* You will still need your Security Device for some transactions like setting up a new payee or changing details.
Important Update affecting Internet Explorer users
Shortly we will be making improvements to your Online Banking. To experience this update, Internet Explorer users are required to upgrade their browser to Internet Explorer 11 or the latest available version for their Operating System. We will soon contact you via SMS and email with more information about your new Online Banking experience.

We’re introducing our improved Online Banking service gradually to all customers in HSBC China, so your friends and family who use HSBC Online Banking service shouldn’t worry if they don’t have access straightaway.
